Cancer Sun Ingress June 20-21 2025

With “Cancer Season” just a couple of weeks away…there’s plenty of time to come up with a better name. Normally I can overlook the Astrology/Medicine overlap but "Cancer Season" is giving horrific vibes of Death not too far removed from "Hitler Season."

The Solar Ingress takes place late June 20th/early 21st depending on your location.  

The Cancer Ingress is supported by a strong sextile from Taurus Moon.  Just days later, it’s the mega-powered New Moon conjunct Jupiter in Cancer, square the Saturn/Neptune conjunction in Aries.  This is a brief lunar event of severe consequence.  Make damn sure you’re somewhere good in the early hours of June 25. Cancer teaches us there’s no doing anything without a motive deep in your heart.  There’s no washing dishes, there’s no exercising, there’s no slaying of dragons.  What’s your reason?  There’s something precious alive in you if you can find it - multitudes growing within you, needing your love and protection.  It’s normal and not automatically unhealthy to project the quality out onto others: one’s spouse, deity, child, or even a beloved pet feline familiar named “Cocoa.”  In any event, you’ve tapped straight into the well of spiritual strength.  You don’t need to worry about “how” any more because Love is why… and, for better or worse, True Love always finds a way.

Even if said Love is perhaps ill-advised or a little bit twisted, Cancer is so easily caught in the euphoric trance.  Rationality plays second to instinct now.  Long after forgetting why they began, Cancer dances and cavorts hypnotically around for many, many moons.  They become one with the program in place, trusting that it is the right one for right now.  Time will inevitably tell.  The difference between Cancer's gradual empowerment and a tragic decline is their heart’s direction.
